About TimeBack
TimeBack is an international student-led education organization founded and led by Zackary Xu. Through its chapter network across North America and Asia, including the United States, Taiwan and Malaysia, TimeBack advances practical time-management education and youth leadership.
TimeBack’s chapters form one international network, connected by the organization’s identity, mission and educational framework. Chapter leadership is a role within TimeBack: leaders represent its mission in their schools and communities, organize educational activities and contribute to the broader work of the organization. Their efforts bring TimeBack’s shared purpose into different countries, cultures and educational settings.
TimeBack develops the curriculum, teaching resources and leadership guidance that provide the foundation for this work. Its educational framework addresses the often-overlooked skills and habits behind effective time management, from setting goals and sustaining focus to developing routines suited to individual needs. Through these shared resources, TimeBack gives its chapters a common foundation for delivering free workshops and educational activities.
The organization combines a shared educational direction with the flexibility to serve different audiences. Chapters adapt activities to their communities while drawing on TimeBack’s curriculum and organizational support. This approach connects the work across its international network without requiring every chapter to teach in exactly the same way.
Within TimeBack, students take responsibility for both education and organizational leadership. Chapter leaders bring people together, organize programs and carry the mission into their schools and communities. TimeBack provides the framework connecting those responsibilities to a broader international effort.
Led by Xu and its student team, TimeBack brings this network together around a clear mission: expanding access to practical time-management education and equipping young people to take ownership of their time. Its chapters, shared resources and organizational direction give that mission an international structure that extends beyond any single school, community or country.
